Landlocked Mermaid

Hah - tricked you! You thought you only had 24 days of me, but nope! Surprise! I would just like to say:   I hope today is as magical and wonderful as you well want. Here’s to 2022 - it can’t get much worse than the start of this decade, right? Or are these famous last words? Regardless, enjoy the festive season. This landlocked mermaid sends her love and wishes you a very happy new year. I will finally be quiet now. Going to enjoy the season, too! Posts will resume from Jan 9th.   This is it, folks. The laaassstttt dooorr. Oh, would you look at that lovely bunch of people. A few Christmases ago, the family took part in the Devil’s Dash - a Boxing Day walk (or run!) up a very steep hill. We walked. Though had Covid and other circumstances not occurred, Human would have run the second year. Despite being a very  steep hill, it was a lovely way to spend the day, after having over-indulged the day before. I’m in no hurry to repeat that hill, but maybe making a nice day walk after Christmas a tradition is in order. What are your favourite Christmas traditions?
